FUSE partners meeting in Milan
On 17–18 June 2026, the FUSE project partnership met in Milan for an international project meeting hosted by Fondazione Luigi Clerici. The meeting brought together all project partners to discuss the progress of implementation and agree on the next steps of the project.
The two-day agenda focused on project management, financial matters, the review of work packages, and the preparation of training modules and future outputs. Partners also discussed online learning modules, the needs of target groups, employer engagement, support materials and practical tools for use in the project activities.
A key part of the discussion was the preparation of documents and outputs for employers, who will play an important role in creating job opportunities and supporting participants in their pathway back to the labour market. The partnership also shared experiences and exchanged ideas on how to strengthen the implementation of the project across countries.
The second day was dedicated to further project activities, knowledge sharing among partners, and a visit to a training centre, where participants had the opportunity to see practical examples of vocational education and preparation for working life.
FUSE is focused on supporting people who have been long-term outside the labour market and on creating new opportunities in the food, gastronomy and community-oriented enterprise sectors. The project connects education, mentoring, regional partnerships, employers and practical tools to help people gain new skills and improve their chances of employment.
The partnership will now continue with the preparation of training materials, communication with target groups, employer engagement and planning of pilot activities in the partner countries.
Many thanks to Fondazione Luigi Clerici for hosting the meeting and to all partners for the constructive discussion, exchange of experience and shared work on the project.
